If you're someone who craves direct contact with nature, this hostel is a great choice. With its location in a sleepy town surrounded by exciting and untamed surroundings, you'll have plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. the staff at the 24/7 reception is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check, in and check, out process. the well, equipped kitchen and stable WiFi are additional conveniences that make your stay comfortable. Plus, as many hikers stay here, you'll have the chance to meet interesting people who share your passion for nature.
The shared bathrooms can be a bit inconvenient, as there are only two for all guests.

The hostel provided a cozy and comfortable environment for our Easter stay. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hostel had a spacious living room with a kitchen corner, allowing guests to prepare their own meals and socialize with other travelers. The heating was also adjustable, which was great for the cooler evenings during our stay.
One of the drawbacks was the check-in process, as it was a bit inconvenient to have to go to another location for check-in. the hostel could benefit from providing more basic kitchen items, such as a box grater and colander, as well as additional towels for drying and cleaning.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy hostel in Isafjordur. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the big living room with a kitchen corner. It was the perfect place to socialize and prepare meals. The location was excellent, within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. Despite being in the center of town, the hostel was quiet and I had a good amount of privacy. The bathrooms were clean and the overall atmosphere was really cute. I also appreciated that the heating could be turned on, even during the summer.
Nothing for me. 😊
